An Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) is a the most directly representative elected body in the District of Columbia. ANC 6B represents an area bounded roughly by the US Capitol to the West, 15th St SE and the Anacostia to the East, East Capitol Street to the North, and the Southeast/Southwest Freeway to the south. Nine Single-Member Districts (SMDs) comprise ANC 6B.
