ANC 6B

An Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) is the most directly representative elected body in D.C. They were created through the District's Home Rule Charter. Nine single member districts (SMDs) comprise ANC 6B which represents an area bounded roughly by the U.S. Capitol to the West, 15th St., SE to the East, East Capitol Street to the North, and SE/SW Freeway to the South.
