On Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 6:00pm ET, ANC 6B’s Public Safety Committee co-hosted a District-wide virtual convening to address gun violence reduction strategies in Washington, DC. Led by committee Vice Chair Jody Kent Lavy, the two-hour event provided a wide array of perspectives and solutions.

The goal of the event was to give DC residents information about the status of strategies being implemented in DC, those that are working in other cities, and what you can do to improve our safety in DC.
