ANC 6B Public Safety Committee and Greater Washington Community Foundation to Host DC Community Public Safety Forum on Gun Violence Reduction Strategies

On Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 6:00pm ET, ANC 6B’s Public Safety Committee co-hosted a District-wide virtual convening to address gun violence reduction strategies in Washington, DC. Led by committee Vice Chair Jody Kent Lavy, the two-hour event provided a wide array of perspectives and solutions.

The ANC 6B Public Safety Committee and the Greater Washington Community Foundation invite you to join a public safety forum for community members to learn more about gun violence reduction strategies from national and local experts. The goal of the event was to give DC residents information about the status of strategies being implemented in DC, those that are working in other cities, and what you can do to improve our safety in DC.
